Frequently Asked Questions

Short answers to what buyers ask most often. If yours isn't here, ask us on any watch page.

Buying

How do I buy a watch?

Every watch is one of a kind. Choose “Buy now” on its page and pay through a secure, hosted checkout. While another buyer is completing checkout, the watch shows as Reserved.

Can I ask a question before buying?

Yes. Use “Ask a question” on any watch page. We usually reply within one working day.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Card payment, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, through a hosted checkout.

Condition & authenticity

What do your condition grades mean?

We grade on the scale collectors know from Chrono24. See authenticity & grading for what each grade means.

Is the watch original?

Each listing describes the dial, hands, case and movement as we found them, and names any part that has been replaced or restored. If we have not been able to verify something, the listing says so.

Has the watch been serviced?

The listing says whether a watch has been serviced and when, if known. Unless stated, assume a vintage watch will benefit from a service by a watchmaker.

Is a vintage watch water resistant?

Treat it as not water resistant. Gaskets age, so even a watch marked “waterproof” on the dial should be kept away from water.

Shipping & returns

How long does delivery take?

We dispatch within 2 working days. Delivery within the EU usually takes 2–7 working days. See shipping.

Can I return a watch?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery. See returns.
