About this piece
Honest vintage Rado Automatic from the 1950s in a steel case measuring approximately 34mm. The silver/cream dial is signed RADO AUTOMATIC INCABLOC with WATERPROOF 17 JEWELS ANTIMAGNETIC and SWISS at 6 o'clock, featuring applied Arabic numerals, aged luminous plots and a charming red center seconds hand. Powered by the Rado 17-jewel automatic movement with Incabloc shock protection, shown running-condition unverified in the photos. The case back is marked AUTOMATIC GR 5322 and the movement bridge reads RADO WATCH Co SEVENTEEN 17 JEWELS. As shown in the photos, the watch carries genuine age: dial patina and light spotting, aged hand lume, case wear with surface scratches and some gold-tone flaking on the lugs, and a worn/pitted crown. Fitted with a newer black leather strap and brushed steel pin buckle. Sold without box or papers. A characterful mid-century Swiss automatic for the vintage collector.

GoodVisible wear consistent with its age: light scratches, patina, small marks.
Original untouched dial shows even aging, patina and some spotting/discoloration toward the lower half, with luminous plots aged to brown. Hands show wear to the lume. Steel case is worn with rounded polishing, surface scratches and gold-tone flaking/wear along the lugs and case sides. Crown is worn with visible pitting/corrosion. Crystal is domed acrylic with light haze. Case back and movement are correctly signed; the automatic movement is visible and appears complete but functionality is unverified from photos. Fitted with a newer black leather strap and a brushed steel pin buckle in good shape. No box or papers.
